For a superior pot of Herbal Chai Tea, mix 2 oz. of herbs in 16 oz. of water. Boil 15–20 minutes, add milk, simmer for 5 minutes more. Strain, add sweetener and enjoy.

Basic Tea Brewing Instructions

Leaves—best if left to infuse for 5–15 minutes.
Seeds—works either boiled for 5 minutes or infused for a short amount of time.
Roots—boil for 5–15 minutes or steep 15–30 minutes, longer for fuller flavor.
Combinations—use discretion as to the flavor you are looking for.

Green & Black Tea— For a superior cup of tea, use 1/2 teaspoon of tea per cup. Boil the water, turn off the heat and wait one minute before adding to the tea. Steep 2 to 5 minutes until desired strength is reached. Sweeten to taste and drink.

Calming Tea

A pleasant tasting, relaxing blend to help relieve tension in your day or evening. Contains: oatstraw, skullcap, chamomile, catnip, hawthorne berries, fenugreek, anise.

  

Comfort Tea

This delicious tea calms both old and young folks and tastes great without making you sleepy. Great alone or as a cold tea with juice. Contains: chamomile, lemongrass, rose hips, hibiscus flowers, alfalfa, spearmint, fennel. Delicious!

  

Everybody’s Cold Tea

Feeling under the weather, a little chilly? This soothing tea will help perk you up. Great taste. Contains: comfrey leaves, linden flowers, rose hips, lemon balm, elder flowers, peppermint, white pine, anise.

  

Herbal Chai Tea

A superior pot of tea! A noncaffeinataed yet stimulating chai. Great for starting your day or as an after dinner dessert. See the sidebar for directions on making the perfect pot of tea. Contains: cinnamon, cardamom, burdock, eleutherococcus (Siberian ginseng), astragalus, Oregon grape root, licorice, black pepper, ginger, cloves.

  

Herbal Vit-Min Tea

A super nutrient blend of herbs rich in vitamins, minerals and flavor. Safe for pregnancy. Contains: alfalfa, chamomile, comfrey leaves, fennel, lemon balm, nettle, oatstraw, peppermint, raspberry leaves, red clover, spearmint.

  

Slippery Elm Bark & Licorice Root Tea

This tea is good for settling tummies and soothing to the throat. Contains: slippery elm bark, licorice root.

  

Tasty Tea

Makes a wonderful cool drink with honey, a juice for parties, or just an every day drink. Contains: lemon verbena, chamomile, hibiscus, and a touch of peppermint. Kids and adults alike love it.

  

Winter Root Tea

Strengthens and balances the whole body. Delicious alone or mixed with other teas such as Herbal Vit-Min. Contains: eleutherococcus (Siberian ginseng), Oregon grape root, astragalus root, burdock root, licorice root.

  

Yerba Maté – Loose Tea

Our Yerba Maté is a loose, organically sourced, shade-grown, bulk tea grown in Argentina. Many Americans are finding Yerba Maté to be a great substitute for coffee. It has similar stimulant effects without the bad side effects, and is loaded with vitamins and minerals, amino acids and antioxidants. A healthy choice for your morning drink. Contains: Yerba Maté.

  


Catnip – Loose Tea

Not only is this fun for the kitty but it’s also soothing for the tummy. Catnip (Nepeta Cataria), an aromatic and subtly floral perennial that is native to Europe, is a member of the mint family and has been used for centuries to make tea. Steeping this caffeine-free herb produces a savory woodsy aroma and flavor with a hint of mint. Avoid during pregnancy. Contains: catnip.

Gemaicha

This steamed Japanese green tea is blended with puffed rice and has a nutty flavor. Great for digestion.

  

Gun Powder Green Tea

Steamed Japanese green tea with a strong, earthy flavor. Tight hand-rolled “pinhead” pellets.

  

Jasmine Green

This tea is blended with fresh jasmine blossoms in a traditional scenting process, which produces a tea that is subtly sweet and highly fragrant.

  

Jasmine Pearl

Hand-rolled Chinese tea absorbs the fragrance of fresh jasmine. Jasmine tea is used to calm the jitters. Use approximately 5 pearls per cup.
